       The aluminum battery shell supplier of this project requires the inspection of product appearance before shipment to ensure a "zero defect rate" of the shipped products. However, there are many types of defects in the aluminum shell appearance of prismatic cells, including shell dents, pits, dings, shell scratches, and over 30 types of other defects; a wide variety of defects, including some defects requiring depth information; high acceptance requirements and the need to consider the size and depth of the defect area, which cannot be solved by the existing visual inspection solutions.

    Defect types:

      More than 30 types of defects, such as shell bumps, pits, dents, scratches, leaking electrolyte, and bulge; pole scratches, stains, and welding slag; QR code scratches, QR code damage, seal welding appearance, explosion-proof valve damage, explosion-proof valve fouling, and explosion-proof valve leakage.
